Position Overview
The Project Engineer serves as the technical lead throughout the customer product lifecycle—from pre-award engineering support through successful production launch. This position partners with customers, sales, manufacturing, quality, tooling, and operations to ensure new products are manufacturable, cost-effective, and successfully introduced into production. The Project Engineer leads APQP activities, provides technical expertise, manages engineering
changes, and drives projects to completion while supporting Wolverine Coil Spring's commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
Desired Requirements
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred.
Experience
• Experience in manufacturing engineering, project engineering, or product launch within
a manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting APQP and PPAP processes.
• Experience working with ERP systems and manufacturing software.
Technical Knowledge
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, machinery, and production
methods.
• Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawing interpretation.

• Proficient in 3D modeling, drawing CAD models, engineering specifications, and
customer requirements.
• Familiarity with inspection methods, gaging systems, and measurement equipment.
• Experience supporting cost estimating and manufacturing process development.
