As a Spring Manufacturers Institute member, WCS pursues competitiveness for North American precision spring manufacturers in world markets through support and education.
WCS has been a Precision Metalforming Association member since 1996 to help develop superior competitiveness and profitability for the North American metalforming industry.

Student Engagement
WCS believes students should pursue a career they're passionate about. That's why we support the following programs to expose students to manufacturing and help them decide if it's meant for them.
WCS supports Discover Manufacturing's mission to train the current workforce, promote the industry to future generations, and communicate opportunities and best practices.
Kent ISD (the Career Tech Center specifically) and WCS combine efforts to provide schools and communities with enhanced and equitable educational and career opportunities for all learners.
WCS open its doors on Manufacturing Day to showcase the industry as a potential career path and energize a future pipeline of skilled workers.
WCS consistently registers as an exhibitor at MiCareerQuest events to highlight careers in manufacturing to local students.
WCS sponsors the First Robotics Competition as it combines the excitement of sport with the rigors of science and technology.
